Together since 1987
Our history
The community was founded on 12 May 1987. At first, around 20 members rented an apartment in Hindemithstraße. Since then, the number of members has continued to grow.
In 1988, the first imam was sent from Türkiye to Ingolstadt. In 1993, the association leased land from the city and built a prefabricated building. In 1998, it acquired the current site. The foundation stone of the mosque was laid in 2004, and the mosque officially opened in May 2008.

The Mosque
The mosque is a place of prayer, gathering and community. It includes a prayer hall and additional rooms and serves as a social, cultural, educational and religious centre.
Believers find a place of peace here and can step away from everyday life in prayer. The mosque therefore connects spiritual life with community and social engagement.
